Barbara Leclair is a clothing label built on one idea: clothes you can actually live in. Dresses, knitwear, shirts, jeans, skirts, sets and the layering pieces that hold a wardrobe together, for women and men who want to feel put together without spending an hour deciding.

Our vision

We think getting dressed should be the easiest part of your day. Too much clothing is either disposable or intimidating. We want a wardrobe that sits in between: pieces with enough presence to carry an occasion, and enough comfort that you forget you are wearing them.

Our mission

To make well cut, easy to wear clothing available without the markup that usually comes with it. We keep the range tight and the fits considered, so that what we do offer is worth owning. Every piece is chosen for drape, movement and how it holds up after the tenth wear rather than the first.

What we sell

For women: everyday and occasion dresses, knitwear and tops, jeans and trousers, shorts, skirts, jumpsuits, matching sets, swimwear and footwear. For men: shirts and polos, t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, jeans and trousers, shorts, swim shorts and footwear. Over all of it, the jackets and coats that go on top.

Fits are described honestly on every product page, including whether a piece runs small or large, so you can order once and keep it.

How we work

Our products are made in Asia and ship from our warehouse in Guangdong, China. Shipping is free on every order with no minimum, and you have 90 days to return anything that is not right. We would rather you send something back than keep a piece you do not wear.
